Rihanna Reportedly the Victim in Chris Brown...
Last night Chris Brown and his singer, girlfriend Rihanna were no-shows at the Grammys. The reported cause: Chris Brown physically abused Rihanna.
At the end of the article there is a brief account of Chris Brown's childhood which mentions how he witnessed his father beat his mother. Reminds me of Kathy Grimm's statement that "abuse begins with abuse".

Worst part is, apparently some people are saying that Rihanna must have "provoked him" and "deserved it"!

I've heard that too - that she provoked him...but that really bothers me that people are saying this. Regardless of the situation, every individual is responsible for their own actions. I've actually seen them in concert and they are absolutely adorable together, so I was really surprised to hear this happen. Furthermore...he's "apologized" and is "saddened" by this event..whatever that means. Everyone is showing Rihanna love and support, but I'm not sure what she's going to do about this. If she does not make a statement to acknowledge what Chris did was wrong, it may send out the wrong message to fans who are in the same position. Furthermore....will she go back???
